Invocation

Dear Lord,

We stand before you tonight and ask for your blessings to meet and make our tomorrows.  Guide us in the dark of night as we find our way to the light of new day. Take our hands and temper our hearts as we head off on our journey of gathering past with the present. It is our journey of goodness, of greatness – to a future of ever-changing and unending promises. With your grace, we have tread our paths and tried our passions. Now we find ourselves here, asking you as one for strength and wisdom as we set forth from this threshold of new beginnings.
